Our mission
Our mission at Burbank Dance Academy is to provide students from age 3 with a dynamic, all-encompassing curriculum focused on developing the whole dancer. With classical ballet at its core, we establish a solid foundation upon which dancers can build the skill sets to work professionally in today's market if they so choose.
The best dancers are well-rounded, so our Los Angeles ballet program is comprehensive. With 100+ combined years as dance educators and performers, our faculty ensures every lesson is transferable and applicable across genres. We teach it right the first time.
Top 5% of U.S. ballet schools
In 2024, Burbank Dance Academy was recognized as being in the top 5% of ballet schools in the U.S., according to the study Quantifying Hierarchy and Prestige in U.S. Ballet Academies as Social Predictors of Career Success, conducted by researchers from Northwestern, Northeastern, Harvard, and the University of Virginia.
Our Étoile students have been admitted to highly regarded Summer Intensive Programs including American Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, Ellison Ballet, and the John Cranko School.
